Named Finalist for Pink Elephant Innovation of the Year Award

Service‑ SaaS for IT service management leaves the industry asking, "Remember when?"

SAN DIEGO – Feb. 17, 2009 ‑ Service‑, the pioneer of IT service management via SaaS, today announced it is a finalist for the Pink Elephant Innovation of the Year award. Service‑ is first to provide enterprise IT with a customizable application built to support IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices and delivered via software‑as‑a‑service (SaaS).

The Innovation of the Year award winner will be announced at Pink Elephant's 13th Annual IT Service Management Conference and Exhibition in Las Vegas at the Bellagio on Tuesday, Feb. 24 during the morning general session. The award ceremony is appropriately followed by a keynote presentation from Nicholas Carr, author of "The Big Switch" and "Does IT Matter?"

Service‑ recently announced record growth based on rapid market acceptance and adoption of IT service management via SaaS.

Matt French, Service‑ director of marketing, said, "We've spent the last few years asking, 'Remember when?' Businesses and their IT processes have evolved while IT service management software has remained the same. Enterprise IT deserves better. The legacy of old software that is impossible to implement, difficult to use and costly to maintain is coming to a close."

Service‑ is a gold sponsor of the conference and will be providing live demos of the Service‑ ITSM via SaaS in booth 411. Visit our booth for a chance to win an iPhone.
