IT previously had 12 different tools deployed across four regions for various service desk functions, resulting in slow responses, poor configurability and limited reporting. Now, IT has a global single system of record that enables standards and consistency. In addition, the company has further extended the platform by building an application called IMAC (for Installs, Moves, Adds and Changes), which processes approximately 2,000 new hires, transfers and terminations per month, worldwide, directly from its service catalog.
