The Siam City Cement Company (SCCC) is the second largest cement manufacturer in Thailand. Due to complex processes and logistics, SCCC was seeking a new IT service management solution to help facilitate and manage IT and complement their digital strategy. They selected ServiceNow because as a cloud‑based ITSM solution, ServiceNow was easy and fast to deploy. The platform requires only an internet connection and basic web browser, is accessible via mobile devices and is customizable for the look and feel of the corporate brand. Because there were no infrastructure investments required or additional maintenance to server hardware needed, implementation time was just four weeks. Now, SCCC has a single source of truth for service management, incident response times are faster, and business risks and interruptions from service availability are mitigated because processes and workflows are defined. The Siam City Cement Company plans to extend their use of ServiceNow beyond IT to leverage the platform for other departments including Finance and Procurement.
