5 tips for attending the virtual event

There are many ways to engage with us this year. We have hundreds of on- demand sessions, along with live experiences. You can pick and choose from our library to get whatever information you need, when you need it. To get the most out of the event, it’s important to plan ahead. These tips can help:

  1. Block time on your calendar to focus on the sessions you want to attend.

  2. Keep distractions to a minimum. Multitasking may seem like a good idea in theory, but you’re not likely to absorb as much of the information if you only half watch or listen. Prioritize your time to gain the most value.

  3. Interact. Chat with the speakers and fellow attendees and make connections.

  4. Take stretching breaks. Just as it’s important to block time to watch the presentations and interact, it’s crucial that you take breaks to stand and stretch. Doing so between sessions can boost your focus.

  5. Don't try to take it all in at once—but don’t wait until the last minute either. Block an hour or two each day to watch the presentations that will impact you the most. Watching the sessions all day, day after day, can be overwhelming—and difficult to take in. You’ll get more out of the event by breaking it into digestible chunks.
