The digital go-to-market team at ServiceNow is committed to driving digital sales to unlock company growth and success. The team includes sales development representatives, lead development representatives, enterprise sales representatives, and digital sales representatives.
This organization is built on three distinct pillars, each critical to our digital success.
Global sales development: The talent engine
The global sales development team identifies potential customers, develops targeted campaigns, and nurtures relationships that ultimately drive company revenue.
"My job is to look at key prospects, develop campaigns for them, and understand how we can build strong relationships,” says Aishwarya R., a sales development representative based in Bangalore, India. The end goal is to increase revenue.
As a place for early-in-career employees to jump-start their sales experience, global sales development is the heartbeat of our talent pipeline. In 2024 alone, the team promoted more than 100 individuals across departments and teams in digital sales, highlighting its role as a talent engine within the company.
Tiffany L., a sales development representative based in San Diego, started her ServiceNow journey as an intern. After graduating, she returned to ServiceNow as a full-time sales representative.
"I'm focused on targeting new companies that haven't engaged with us yet, or even expanding existing customer relationships,” she says. “My mission is to drive new pipeline and secure meetings for my account team."
Digital sales: The new logo machine
Digital sales is the dynamic force behind acquiring new customers, or “logos." “We're here to capture as many new customers as we can,” explains Chris J., manager of digital sales in Munich.
Brooke K., manager of digital sales in Toronto, echoes this sentiment: "Whether it’s from an inbound lead, an online interaction, or an event we hosted, our team is often the first point of contact for new customers,” she says. “How we present ourselves in that initial interaction is crucial."
Digital renewals: Growth sustainer
The digital renewals team works to keep our digital business thriving. "We're the team that helps sustain and oversee the digital side of the business,” says Rachel L., senior director of global digital renewals in San Diego.
“It's exciting, like working in a startup within a larger organization,” she adds. “We're constantly building and innovating to ensure renewals."
Looking ahead
When asked about his expectations for new logos this fiscal year, Mike S., senior vice president of sales in Atlanta, summed it up with two words: “big number.” Every member of the digital go-to-market team is committed to making that goal a reality.
