Grateful and excited to return for my third CreatorCon Hackathon as an MVP 💙
There’s something special about CreatorCon. It’s not just a track within Knowledge and it’s the space built for people who build. Developers, admins, architects, designers, analysts… and even those who are simply curious. If you’ve ever opened Flow Designer late at night just to test an idea, you already belong here.
What keeps me coming back every year is simple and this is where ideas become real. Not theoretical. Not “someday.” Real solutions, built in hours, for meaningful purposes that can impact the community.
The experience begins at 3:00 PM in the Knowledge Playground, where the room fills with energy. You register, look around, and quickly realize you’re surrounded by people who think just like you, it's curious, creative, and ready to build. Some come with teams, others come solo, but within that first hour, ideas are pitched, conversations spark, and teams form naturally.
By 4:00 PM, everything shifts. Laptops open. Instances go live. The hackathon begins. What started as a rough idea turns into architecture, workflows, UI, logic, and storytelling. You brainstorm, challenge each other, refine, pivot, and build again. Time moves fast but that’s the beauty of it.
As midnight approaches, there’s a quiet intensity in the room. At 12:00 AM, it’s time to submit. You pause for a second and realize—you just built something real. Something that didn’t exist a few hours ago.
The next day, at 12:30 PM, the energy returns in a different form. Finalists take the stage. Ideas are shared. Stories are told. And one team is crowned the CreatorCon Hackathon champion. But honestly, by that point, everyone who showed up and built has already won something—experience, confidence, connection.
And yes, there are exciting rewards—category winners and the overall champion receive recognition, prizes, and some very cool surprises. But what truly matters is what you take away from the experience.
What I’ve gained over the years is far more valuable:
the ability to think under pressure, to collaborate with diverse minds, to turn ambiguity into clarity, and to confidently present an idea from scratch. I’ve also had the privilege of meeting some incredible people peers, mentors, and presenters I once admired from afar.
If this is your first time at Knowledge, don’t worry, you won’t be alone. The CreatorCon Crew is there to welcome you, guide you, and make sure you get the most out of every moment.
You don’t need much to get started. Bring your laptop, curiosity, and a willingness to try. The energy, collaboration, and momentum will meet you there.
So if you’re even thinking about it, don’t hesitate.
Show up. Join a team. Build something meaningful.
Because CreatorCon isn’t just about what you create
it’s about who you become in the process.
