Inline images (screenshots) are not become case attachments in CSM/FMS Configurable workspace

Hello Community,

 

I'm facing an inconsistency in how inline images (screenshots) are handled in the CSM/FMS Configurable Workspace. Unlike other workspaces, when I paste images into work notes, they don't appear in the "Attachments" tab. This breaks the visual context within cases and can lead to lost information.
ServiceNow Support has confirmed this is by design. In the platform UI (UI16), pasted images automatically become attachments, ensuring they are viewable within the case record. However, this not happened with CSM/FSM Configurable Workspace and this creates a confusing and inefficient user experience.

Has anyone implemented effective workarounds to ensure pasted images in the CSM/FMS Configurable Workspace automatically become case attachments?
