Anyone uploaded/ imported GRC Issues from excel template into ServiceNow

I want to upload issues related to security to ServiceNow GRC issue management module , any suggestions regarding this activity , i have prepared an excel template

 

Need to understand how we can take care of planned start date , end date, confirmed date fields on Issue form(sn_grc_issue) , due date data i have but some of the issues have due date is in the past , so how to import that one as SLA will not be attached for due date in past

Hi @ANKITA_CHARAYA ,

As I understand , you are importing the issues manually and it's not coming from any third party integrations.

So, the planned start date , end date, confirmed date, Due date you will have to manually fill in.

Also, when it comes down to SLA's , you need to tweak the SLA conditions such that it meets your requirements specially when you have a Due date based SLA.

Yes we have exported the security issues data from JIRA and mapped fields to import it in ServiceNow manually via the import set , we don't have planned start date , end date and confirmed date data from the source and only have due date information , and i see confirmed date , plan start and end date these fields are populated automatically when states is changed to analyze/ respond ,and if the due date is in past , SLA is not attached based on that its taking planned start date i think , so how to handle that scenario , as we can't keep those fields blank as we dnt have data in it but still its populating by current date or something by itself

Does your Issues always gets created via JIRA or some manual issues also created by your on your platform?

And what about Indicators failure issues?
