question how to add template in email in App Engine forum

how to add template in email

i had a requirement to use templates on workspace to file the emails. when i was tried with templates i can access all the fields on the templates. but when i am impersonation the test users/non admin they are not able to access the Template field on the form. please suggest the ways to make template field is editable.

Hello @VSN,

Have you tried specifying the groups to whom these template should be available?

In the contextual side panel of a record, select the Templates icon
In the Templates pane, select the Create Templates icon
Select the Groups field, and enter the groups you want this form to be available to

If the groups does not make sense in your use case, you can try with roles.

Navigate to the sys_template table
Open your template
Ensure the User & Groups fields are empty:
Adjust the form layout so that Roles field is shown on your form:
You can select then the roles to whom your template should be visible: (MAKE SURE GLOBAL IS CHECKED)

@Medi C did we can't provide the ability to create templates their own.

you want users to apply the template or edit the template?

what's your requirement?
