&lt;P&gt;1. Navigate to sc_template.list&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2. Open the template with issue.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;3. Under "Catalog Template Details", open the record with "Questions" as the Question v&lt;SPAN&gt;alue&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;4.Remove the contents of the Value field and Save the changes. This will remove the previously selected variable set, which will allow you to make modifications in the questions of catalog builder.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi there,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm encountering an issue while trying to edit a catalog item using the Catalog Builder. My goal is to change the layout of some variables. I have successfully made similar changes in the past, in this catalog item, using the catalog builder. Now I am unable to do so.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Did you get to the bottom of this issue? One of my colleagues just showed me this same error. The link on the screen to information on the issue is not working either.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;I've suggested my colleague works on the catalog item direct rather than via App engine studio.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Ron&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I've checked the variable that was added to the Catalog Item most recently, inactivated the question/variable and checked again but still seeing the same "questions unavailable" error.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Ron&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I suggest you create a support case for this issue....&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;There might be internal facing known error KBs from their side....&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I experienced this issue and was able to 'recover' the catalog builder functionality by making the containers inactive. I suspect the container type and split formatters got out of whack. Reactivate them until you find the problem one. Hope this helps.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
