How can I make/find a relation between a record producer and the story?

Context:

I have to email the customer when his story state changes, the story is created from a record producer, I look for a field in the table rm_story if there is something that relates to the producer but I did not found anything.

Check for the Open by field in story. Usually that will be set to user who created the story . In you case the user who submitted the record producer.

You can configure the email to be send to 'Opened by' user when the state changes.
