Hi everyone,

Would love your feedback. I’m new to ServiceNow and working toward building the skills needed for an Advisory Solution Consultant role in the financial services industry. My goal is to build a strong foundation in ServiceNow and cloud solutions to make myself a more competitive candidate.

Hi @GloriaN ,

What there is most important and which you might are missing in your learning plan, is real work in the real world - not online training session. Off course the training will give you basic understanding, but real work is what really give you insights.

Thank you so much for answering my question. Do you have any advice on where I can get real work experience? I joined some ServiceNow LinkedIn communities and saw some people advertising real problems to work on, is that an example of a good way to get real work experience?

Hi @GloriaN ,

To come with an advise, I would recommend you to take the fundamentals training e.g. the CSA, get a Personal developer instance to play around with and follow the community. Try to answer the questions to your best ability, as this can give experience. Otherwise, you look for job opportunities in your area for both ServiceNow and Service Management related.
