question Can mid server be able to call/execute API where mid server is not hosted ? in Community Central forum

we have two closed networks. we have confirmed that network connectivity is available between two. One of the closed network is hosted with mid server.

We have a requirement to call/execute an API from the closed network where mid server is not hosted.

Can we call/execute the API through the mid server to the other network. is that technically possible or should we consider to install another mid server in other closed network.

should there be any permission needs to assigned to service account in this case

As long as the API is not restricted to specific network ranges, and you have true network connectivity and visibility from the MID Server host computer to the API's IP and port, then yes.

You can test connectivity by using a web browser on the MID Server host to try and hit the API endpoint URI.
