I want to update my login ID and currently this ID is a partner account associated with my company.
I need assistance in changing my ID in all servicenow related accounts. However, I am bit confused about my earned creditionals, certifications and badges, if it will be transferred to my new ID. When I tried to update my ID, its shows a warning that I have attached through this post.

Could someone please assist me in updating new ID in all servicenow related accounts without losing access.

Hi,

While changing email you will loose all benefits you have with the current organization like the learning credit. Whatever you earned like Certificates, Community Profiles, Course completion information are retained. You can refer this KB for more details

https://learning.servicenow.com/lxp/en/account-employee-training-and-learning-credit-management/change-email?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0011832

Thanks Palanikumar for your guidance.

I already have an account in ServiceNow with my new ID which I need to update but that doesn't have a partner account access. In this case, could you please advise whether I need to update my ID now or need to look for a merge ID option.

Thank you in advance!!

Hi,

If you update an ID that already has Partner Portal access, then you will definitely loose partner portal access. You need to request for Partner Portal access using the new id again.

This is applicable to Merge account as well.

Thank you,
