Remove child topic connected content from parent topic “support resources” on ESC portal.

I have a functionality to add the child topic widget to my ESC portal, but the client does not want the connected content of the child topic to display in the “Support resource” section below the parent topic page. How can i remove the connected contents without updating the script of the widget.

To achieve this, modify the "Content displayed from" field within the "instance option" to "Current topic only". This adjustment can be made without altering the widget's script.

I ran into the same issue in ServiceNow when child topics were showing content under the parent unintentionally. The fix for me was adjusting the relationship mappings and checking the knowledge base configuration. Disabling inherited relationships in the topic hierarchy solved it. You might also want to script exclusions for specific child content if the setup is more complex.
