Please mention the steps you have taken to troubleshoot this issue. So that those can be ruled out when checking for solution.

I have made sure the Meta contains the correct keywords, made sure the catalog item is Active and Published, re-indexed the source, cleared cache, made sure the AI search is active. By the way, it works in Production, but not in our test environment.

Since you mentioned it's working in PROD and not in non-PROD, try doing a cache.do and try to search for the item after page refresh.

yes, they are all there. What is weird, is that a couple of them can be found. Nothing special about them.

Try using the Search Preview (New) module (AI Search -> Search Preview (New)). The module let you select the search application and you can preview the search. This might give you more information.

Did not know about search preview. That worked. Now what can I learn from that ?

@bobkindelbe Did you check the Not Available related list and see if there is any User criteria mentioned which the logged in user doesn't qualify?

I checked two cat requests, one that could be found and the other not. Both have the same Not Available code. I removed the item from Not Available from the cat item that could not be searched and it did not make a difference.

Hi @bobkindelbe,

you need to add these to the taxonom of the ESC.

Search for taxonomy topic (not sure about the exact name), if you cannot find it, go to service portals, locate the esc, and through the related tabs below you can click through it until you get there and add it to the area of your choice.

This will make it displayed, let me know if this helped to solve your issue
