Attached pictures not displayed properly in the Community forum

Hi all,

today I encountered to this issue, that some of the pictures I cannot see and there is this triangle icon instead. It started this morning, yesterday no issue.

I tried from two different laptops, 3 browsers (Safari, Chrome, Brave), but I have no idea why this is happening.

Some of the pictures I can see ok, looks like I cannot see the ones attached with the clip icon.

Anyone with the same issue or just me?

Can you guys see it? It is not related to the author, I saw it multiple times...

Any ideas are welcome and very appreciated. Thanks!

@Juhi Poddar Thanks for your confirmation. Obviously it’s a “bigger” problem than with my very self…

I'm not sure how to report it to the ServiceNow team but I’ll try my luck tagging:

Thanks for tagging me!

I do see the picture, example here:

But, I will bring this up to the team and see if there's an issue going on. Since I have admin permission, I wouldn't say that just because I can see it means there's nothing wrong. There could still be an issue.

To confirm, I did check your account and I can see what you're talking about with the triangles showing up. I've sent this over to Dan and the Community Team for their review.

I agree with you—when the picture is embedded, it shows only a triangle, but when it's attached, it displays properly.

This might be a platform-related issue affecting only a few users.

We have had to turn on pre-moderation due to all the all the spam we have seen in the past week. Some of these images maybe caught up in in that process. We are trying to work thru it as quickly as possible.

I was thinking it could be somehow related, on the other hand I must say that the spam disappeared from like 99 %!!!!

Amazing job, thank you for taking look into this. It's not urgent and rather to have less spam here hehe.

Workaround: copied and pasted pictures shall be still visible, just the ones attached via clip icon (at least it seems to me that).

Is it for new pictures or retrospectively for all?

It hasn't happened to me during today, however the yesterday's picture is still with that triangle

The picture should be visible now. It was in moderation because it's new member
