Question about the service portal

Guys, so far I've only used the Now Platform to create applications and forms, but I wanted to know what the difference is between creating an application on the Now Platform and the Service Portal. I've seen that it's possible to create a service form on the Service Portal, but I haven't found how to manage this form and its requests. If anyone knows and can explain it to me, I'd appreciate it.

A simple to manage your form on both native view and SP, is by using a record producer.

Record Producers work in both places. Simply open your sp portal, and search for your record producer name in the search bar. Also, requests are tracked under the requests page too. You'll know when you submit a record producer from portal
