Instructions:

As a demand manager, I want the ability to ask stakeholders a new strategic alignment question during the screening process and have the system capture a score so I can see this information reflected in the assessment demand.

Business economics criteria:

A new 'yes/no' question is presented in a demand assessment in Strategic Alignment as: Has this increased our presence in the ecosystem?
Technical use criteria:

The Strategic Alignment Metric Category record is updated to include an assessment metric called: Ecosystem Presence
The weight score of the new metric definition is 20

Configure Demand Assessment Solution :
Step-by-Step Configuration in ServiceNow
Step 1: Add a New 'Yes/No' Question to the Demand Assessment Form
Log into ServiceNow:

Open your ServiceNow instance and log in with your credentials.
Navigate to Form Layout:

In the left-hand navigation pane, type "Demand".
Navigate to Demand > Administration > Forms > Form Layout.
Create a New Field:

In the Form Layout, you will see two columns: "Available" on the left and "Selected" on the right.
Scroll down to find the section to create a new field and click "Add new field".
Define the New Field:

Column label: Enter Will this increase our presence in the ecosystem?
Column name: This will automatically populate based on the label.
Type: Select True/False (equivalent to Yes/No).
Click "Save" to create the field.
Place the New Field in the Form Layout:

The new field will appear in the "Available" column.
Drag and drop the new field from the "Available" column to the "Selected" column in the desired position on the form.
Click "Save" or "Update" to apply the changes to the demand form.
Step 2: Update the Strategic Alignment Metric Category
Navigate to Metric Categories:

In the left-hand navigation pane, type "Metric Categories".
Navigate to Demand > Administration > Metric Categories.
Find the Strategic Alignment Metric Category:

In the "Metric Categories" list, find and open the category named Strategic Alignment.
Add a New Metric Definition:

Within the Strategic Alignment category, find the related list for "Metrics" or "Assessment Metrics".
Click "New" to create a new metric definition.
Fill in the Metric Definition Details:

Name: Enter Presence in the Ecosystem.
Table: Select demand (this applies the metric to demand records).
Field: Select the field you created earlier, Will this increase our presence in the ecosystem?
Weight: Enter 20 (this might be labeled as "Weight Score" or similar).
Click "Submit" to save the new metric definition.
Verification Steps
Check the Demand Form:

Navigate to Demand > All Demands or Demand > Open to find a demand record.
Open an existing demand record or create a new one.
Verify that the new question "Will this increase our presence in the ecosystem?" is visible and functional.
Review Metric Definition:

Navigate to Demand > Administration > Metric Categories.
Ensure that the new metric "Presence in the Ecosystem" is listed under the Strategic Alignment category with a weight score of 20.
