question Re: Tracking Views of Embedded Videos in Knowledge Articles in Community Central forum

Tracking embedded video views in Knowledge feels trickier than it should be, especially when different platforms handle analytics differently. I like the idea of firing custom events from the player and pushing them into a ServiceNow table, since it gives a consistent dataset regardless of the video host. It’s extra setup, but once the events are mapped cleanly, the reporting becomes far more reliable than relying on external dashboards.

Is there a way to capture view metrics of embedded videos inside of Knowledge Articles? In other words, if I have a Knowledge article that has embedded videos, is there a way we could track how many times the video was watched and how much of the video was watched?
