question Merging ServiceNow accounts, without losing learning and community activity in Community Central forum

Hi all,

I have 3 ServiceNow accounts:

my personal account (this one)

one associated with my previous customer, where I was a consultant

a brand new one, associated with the company I just joined as an employee

I've had my first account for many years, and have all my community interactions and points there. I also have many Now Learning training, achievements and certifications there. It's important to me that I don't lose any of these things.

I've had the second account for a few years, to manage various support and admin issues for my previous client. I've also taken a number of NowLearning courses there, at my client's request. I'd like to retain my training achievements, however community activity associated with that account doesn't matter so much.

My third account is brand new and hasn't been used yet. However, this is the account I'll be using from now on since I'll be managing ServiceNow issues and taking additional trainings and certifications at my new company.

Preferably I'd like to move everything from the two old accounts into the new third one, and thereafter terminate the two old ones. How do I go about achieving that? Can I get help somewhere? @David do you still help out with issues like this?

Hope it's fairly clear what I'm trying to achieve, and that someone can guide me or push me in the right direction. Many thanks in advance!

cheers /Tommy

Hi there,

Why would you like to move all your content to your new account, which is your company account? Ideally you want everything on a personal account. Than also create a separate company account, and link both.

That way in the future, if you ever change company whatever, you still own all of your stuff, no issues with merging accounts etc..

Is it possible to link accounts without merging? I have found the link feature but not a lot of information on what it does and it currently errors out when attempting. All of the other official documentation I have seen points to merging but if I could, I would like to link.

Thanks!
