I want to be certified on CSA; however, the prerequisite course is ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals, is pricy and unaffordable. I just want to know if there are other alternatives to acquire CAS without paying for the three-day-long ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals training course

Instructor-led courses are only one of the many options to learn about administering the platform. You can take advantage of the on-demand courses available to you in ServiceNow University. You can also search for courses targeting particular skills and you will be shown several course options for you to study.

No need to purchase any courses and it will be free for all courses if you have access in your company's ServiceNow Partner portal , There are ample of sources are available for CSA exam preparation guideline.

SNAF is available for free! What you found was most likely the instructor-led training (ILT) but you can find it on-demand as well. At the SN University, you can filter as seen below:

Then you will find these:

ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals
ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals Additional Practice (retiring on 31.5.2026)

However to actually sit the CSA exam you will need to pay the exam fee which is 200 USD + taxes, but I believe that's more affordable than the ILT.
