There is a requirement from customer where they want catalog item variables visible to two assignment group and for each assignment group there will be changes in variables.

for example : Assignment group A and Assignment Group B

if member of assignment group A is submitting then there will be 10 variables

if member of assignment group B is submitting then there will be 7 variables,

We do not want to add a condition in Catalog variables to display the question instead based on the user submitting the catalog item.

yes why not

-> use onLoad catalog client script and check if logged in user belongs to which Group and then show/hide the variables

where are you stuck?

Hi @User662578

As @Ankur Bawiskar correctly have mentioned, an onLoad client script is the best solution to check weather the user is part of assignment group A or B - or both 🙂
