Global no longer an option in Search bar

We are currently on the Zurich release, and have enabled the Next Experience AI, and we are seeing that the Global dropdown in the Search bar is no longer available. The only option users are seeing is Search Service Operations Workspace. How can I get the Global option back on the Search bar

The global search is enabled and is true. I check both of those.

I saw somewhere that if you have enabled the Next Experience the Enable Global Text Search yes/no is ignored. Not sure if that is true or not

@RobertPC, is it happening (or as it is not visible so it's *not happening* to be more precise) in both native UI, workspace or just one? Does it happen to more users?

I found @Diogo Ramos's reply HERE, check if it can bring some light into the issue. Ele mentions ACLs, I searched and got these:

Hi @RobertPC

1) Check the property glide.ui.can_search property and either assign the roles in it to the affected users or add the needed role to the property.

2)If you wish to continue using the legacy 'search' page and the 'Search nav' widget, you can choose to identify which ACLs the users are now failing

3) Check if property glide.ui.polaris.ais_ready set to false but globalSearchDataConfigId ux property is set to use AI Search settings

4) Check if the issue is due to the value of the "Multiple Experience" field in the UX Parent Application [sys_ux_app] record for "Unified Navigation app shell" being set to false.

5) The records used on the search do not match with the conditions with the source used:

Are you able to find this record

It should have the value c861cea2c7022010099a308dc7c26041 which is a search app config record.

If you're missing something, probably just import them from a pdi or something

That seems to have corrected the issue, but I am unclear as to why this corrected the issue.

UX properties are properties of ui builder built experiences. The navigation header + filter app list ui is an experience. This property will pass the search app config to the experience which is like the search settings for the app. So with that property value you are saying that when you are in the /now/nav/ui route the default search is zing search from these tables etc. The props give more granular control over the search than what was possible with ui16.

You probably have ai search enabled so you might now want to check out the Ai search for next experience application in the navigator, it has a guided setup so that you can get your searches configured properly for next exp.
