Need Information About IP Addresses Associated with a ServiceNow Developer Instance

Hello Community,

I am working on a ServiceNow Personal Developer Instance (PDI) for a project and need some clarification regarding IP addresses.

Does a ServiceNow Developer Instance have a dedicated/static IP address?
How many IP addresses are typically associated with a developer instance?
If I need to whitelist my ServiceNow instance in an external system for REST API integrations, what IP address(es) should be used?
Are the IP addresses for a developer instance subject to change over time?

I am planning to integrate my ServiceNow instance with external applications and would like to understand the best approach for firewall whitelisting and network configuration.

Any guidance or official documentation would be greatly appreciated.

My thoughts

-> PDIs are not reliable and they can hibernate so take backup periodically link

-> PDIs does not have a single dedicated, static IP address you can rely on long term. For whitelisting purposes, the key point is that PDI IPs can vary, so they are not a good fit for firewall rules that expect one fixed source IP

-> check from here and check if that changes daily

A ServiceNow Personal Developer Instance (PDI) does not have a dedicated or static public IP address. PDIs are hosted in ServiceNow's cloud infrastructure, and the outbound IP addresses may change over time due to infrastructure updates or maintenance.

If you need to whitelist your ServiceNow instance for outbound REST integrations, using a PDI is generally not recommended for production-like integrations because the IP addresses are not guaranteed to remain the same.

For production or enterprise instances, ServiceNow can provide the appropriate outbound IP ranges or NAT gateway information through your organization's ServiceNow support channels or documentation. For a PDI, there isn't a guaranteed static IP that you can rely on for long-term firewall whitelisting.

Hi @rozminsheik

If you type stats.do and hit Enter in Application navigator , you can see IP Address.

Also there are other way like

ping command from command prompt etc.
