Unable to open attachment from attachment varibale submitted in record producer

I'm using Attachment variable in my record producer, if I'm uploading the attachment in the variable. after submitting the record from the target record i'm unable to open the attachment from the variable editor.

Is this OOTB behavior of attachment variable? or how to fix it.

As far as I remember when i started using this variable long back this working.

Is this happening for all the users or some users?

It should show the file and you should be able to click it.

Are you able to click it? Did you check in different browsers such as Edge, Firefox?

Yeah I have checked in different in browsers, also it’s same behaviour in customer instance and PDI as well.

after some analysis the pattern I have identified is, As soon as I have attached any attachment from upload button a record is getting created in attachment table on ZZ_YYSomeTableName.

As soon as I hit on submit that attachment is getting deleted automatically.

surprisingly it’s happening on scoped tables, And on Global tables it’s absolutely working fine.

still not able to figure out the root cause.

It’s working fine on global tables like incident. I’m using this Record producer on legal table like legal matter where it’s not working. And attachment is getting deleted automatically from attachment table after submission of form.

not sure the root cause.

I’m towards HI Case, I’ll just check in custom app. If it is not working there as well HI case would be the only option I think

I'm trying this in Legal Matter Management Scope where it is not working.

As you have mentioned I have tried in one new custom App, it is working fine. it is only not working in Legal Matter Management scope.

Thank you for prompt response, I have figured out an OOB acl on attachment table specifically on legal matter table, and since attachments from attachment variable will be stored as "ZZ_YYtableName" due to which OOB acl is failing as it is checking for "tableName".

We can do for HI ticket and ask to fix, or we can just have custom acl with expected condtion created bcus we can't change OOB acl bcus it will ditrub oob function,

ACL creation won't lead to attachment deletion.

what's the ACL script doing?

Since this is OOB and if you are sure what's the fix then you can proceed.

Yeah, intially I thought attachment is getting deleted, apparently it's not giving read access on that attachment to users since acl condition is based on table name, as mentioend.

Does it have admin overrides checkbox uncheck?

Even for admin the variable is not seen?
