You can do but it will be good custimzation. I treid to find out soemthing on SP

I went through Carousel OOB widget. In this requirement we have to add the feature in the homepage which I am stuck at. I created the widget its showing in banner carousel format working good. But the placement of widget I am stuck at.

I have no idea about this, might be it not possible to add it to the home page. Better log a new support case.
