Order guide using record producer as one of its items

I have a record producer that I need to add to an Onboarding order guide. Every time the record producer is submitted from the onboarding order guide, it creates a request separate from the Onboarding request and there's no way for the user to know that this record producer request is part of the onboarding request. I've learned that it is pretty much impossible to have the request show up under the Requested Items tab. Is there anything I can do to connect the two? Can I submit the record producer as a child request of the onboarding request and link them somehow under a related list?

When you say "Record Producer Request", what exact table are you talking about?
