How to set Help text ("More Information") for a Multi row Variable set in Catalog Item?

I am able to do the same at individual variable, but I wanted to set the Variable set Level.

Hi Irfan,

There is no such provision as of now to add Help text to variable sets. Its limited only to individual variables.

In case you will you can create a Widget with required HTML content & then Variable of type Macro add the Widget created in the widget field of the variable.

What is it you want to do exactly?

If you want to show text instructions. Can you use Label and Help text above the MRVS on the Catalog item?

Can be achieved by adding below to the Catalog Item as Variable:

Not an ideal solution, but since other is not possible, might be a good work around.

Another small information. I want to set a limit to enter only 10 rows ? I see in the docs there is something called Variable Set attributes but i dint see on the form.

Yes, that is correct as it is not available on the Variable set form OOB but can be added to the form view.

In addition, you can also check for what Willem has suggested as a format for using or restricting the number of entires.

On the multi row variable set i went to configure form layout when i search for variable set attribute i dont find that

Hi Irfan,

As updated in comments it is not available on form view OOB.

You can add it to the form view by Configuring form fields

Edit it directly from list view.

We are still in Madrid and i think that comes from New york version 😞

Is there any other way we can limit the rows to 10 ?

You can use scripting to do so. But would not recommend, since Paris is out an upgrade of your instance can't be far away.
