Real Time updates on Related List

Hi,

We are looking at a way of enabling real time updates on Related List. We want to automatically refresh a Related List after a field change/adding a new record etc without clicking on refresh on (right click → Refresh List). This feature works with list v3 enabled however, as list v3 is depreciated we are unable to use list v3 so therefore use list v2. I logged a ticket with SN who advised on the following:

"List v2 doesn't have the capability to auto refresh the list. Related lists are not configured to load automatically when there are any new records been updated on the respective relationship table."

We are looking for a custom code of doing this if anyone has any ideas as it works in List v3 but just not in List v2?

Although this is similar and we already have the 'refresh list' functionality what we are actually looking for is for the related list to auto update when any changes are made instead of clicking on refresh or refresh list.

Did you received any solution for the same. I am also looking for an issue on approval of request on related list , the second level of approval should auto-populate without loading the form.

Please let me know if you are able to find any inputs

No I am still waiting for a solution. I did put an idea forward to Service Now but have not heard anything back from them.
