Request Extension on Policy Exception

Hi,

Currently, the default duration of the policy exception on my instance is 180 days. When requesting an extension beyond 180 days from the "Valid from" date I am prompted with the following error:

"The duration of this policy exception cannot be more than 180 days from "valid from" date".

Is it the case that no matter how many extensions no policy exceptions can be beyond 180 days? (Unless the system default property is changed)

That's the understanding!! Unless the system default property is changed no policy exceptions can be beyond 180 days.
