&lt;P&gt;do you have enabled the Next Experience (Polaris) in your instance? If so, you should disable it (set&amp;nbsp;the system property&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;glide.ui.polaris.experience&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;to "false") and use the developer tools as usual.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Maybe ServiceNow will offer the field watcher also for the Next Experience later.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your quick response, we cannot change the property as we are live on San Diego, so you mean to say there is no field watcher in San Diego&lt;/P&gt;</description>
