Recommended picture and icon size for Cat Items

Was working on assigning images and icons to my catalog items and I was wondering what the recommended sizes were that would look good in both the Portal and the mobile app, they always seem too small or too big depending on where I look.

In our case, we use 100x100 for the icon and 200x200 for the image. Looks good in both interfaces.

Hello, I'm also wondering what picture size to recommend.

I see that on the Catalog Builder there is a tooltip saying 480 * 480 is recommended.

However I see on the Employee Center portal that it's resized to a width of 226.

Does anyone know why 480 would be recommended then ?

Or what size would you recommend ?
