How to create stock rules and how to create threshold notifications?

Hi all,

I am very new to asset management, i got a requirement to create stock rules and the related notifications.

There are 10 stockrooms in a place, and threshold value need to be set as 5 for every model.

I need to know how notifications will trigger based on the threshold values?

Do we need to create stock rules for every model and for every stockrooms?

How to create Parent stockroom? As this is the mandatory field.

What does order quantity refers to on the form?

Please help me with the information and guide me how to create stock rules and related notifications.

Hi,

A scheduled job named Stock Rule Runner runs once per day to create the restocking transfer orders, send email messages to stockroom managers, and create tasks for stockroom managers.

You can remove "Parent Stockroom" field to slush bucket through gear icon.
