Publish Knowledge Articles on Import

Can someone provide insight on how to automatically publish Knowledge articles that are imported (via the Knowledge Import module) from a Word document. I have Publish workflow as "Knowledge - Instant Publish" for all of our Knowledge Bases.

Hi AJ,

Once imported it will be in draft state. Since, you have Instant publish workflow being used then all you need is to open the articles from Knowledge >> Articles >> Unpublished & then open the artice & click on Publish.

Hi Jaspal,

I appreciate your input however this isn't the solution to the problem because your suggestion requires me to open each article 1 by 1. If I'm importing 50 word documents at once it's not ideal to have to open each article and click Publish. Ultimately I am looking for a way to either import articles from Word documents as Published or if I can publish multiple articles at one time.

OOh. In that case go to UI Actions >> Publish of kb_knowlege table. All you need is to open this record & get the List Choice marked as True.

Once done you need to go to Knwoledge >> Articles >> Unpublished then select the articles & then below you will find List Choice as Pubish. Once done you will find all of selected articles are published (only if Instant Publish is the workflow).
