&lt;P&gt;You will be able to do it there.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Number&amp;nbsp;Maintainence modules purpose is to do this only. It is provided by servicenow for that purpose only. It is a right way. You can go ahead.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Reset ticket number counter</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a new instance for a customer however post configuration, testing has been performed on Production to announce Go-Live. I need to reset the ticket number &amp;amp; it should start from 1 again.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I have gone thru few articles where it's mentioned to Go to Number Maintenance &amp;amp; change the counter to 0 (Zero).&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;However solutions are not accepted, I would request you to confirm if this process is right so that I can go ahead to make changes or I should request ServiceNow team to do that.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
