Order Guide's 'choose option' interface in service portal

I want to change interface of order guide's choose option section in service portal

Currently it is coming like this in service portal.
But if I am going to order guide from navigator and clicking on try it , then selected catalog item are coming in different tabs(but not in drop down format as it is coming in portal) . Screenshot attached.

So ,I want 'choose option' of order guide in same format as shown in second photo i.e on different tab rather than dropdown in PORTAL also

This is OOB behaviour of order guide widget.

Changing it will add a lot of customisation in OOB order guide widget which is not recommended by servicenow as it may break in further releases of servicenow and is hard to maintain.

so is there any other type of interface other than drop-down that I can use in choose option?
,or any other functionality that you can suggest

Yes there are two widget you are using the new one. You can also use the old one in that we dont have the tabbed form.

On your "sc_cat_item_guide" page you can remove "sc order guide" and add "sc order guide deprecated" and check the other view:
