    <description>&lt;P&gt;I’m facing an issue with a particular &lt;STRONG&gt;Record Producer&lt;/STRONG&gt; in Service Catalog.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;The record producer is available under the correct &lt;STRONG&gt;Category&lt;/STRONG&gt; and I can open it from there.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, when I try to &lt;STRONG&gt;search in the Service Catalog&lt;/STRONG&gt; (using the exact name of the record producer), it does not show up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Other record producers in the same category show up as expected, and I’ve already compared the configurations — everything looks identical.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there a configuration or setting specific to record producers that controls search visibility?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Check Record Producer settings:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Verify the No Search field is set to false on the Record Producer form.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Confirm the record is Active .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Ensure catalog visibility:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. The Record Producer must be assigned to at least one Catalog and one Category to&lt;BR /&gt;be searchable.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. Check User Criteria:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Review the Available For and Not Available For user criteria on the Record&lt;BR /&gt;Producer. Ensure the user can view it. If in doubt, remove all user criteria temporarily&lt;BR /&gt;for testing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4. Force a re-index:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Make a minor change to the Record Producer (e.g., add a space to the description)&lt;BR /&gt;and save the record to force a re-indexing. Alternatively, an admin can manually re-&lt;BR /&gt;index the sc_cat_item table.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;5. Review Service Portal search sources:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. If the issue is only in the Service Portal, ensure the Service Catalog is correctly&lt;BR /&gt;configured as a search source for that portal.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;6. Clear your cache:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. &lt;P&gt;Things to check&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1) add some keywords in the Meta field in record producer&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2) ensure "&lt;STRONG&gt;No Search&lt;/STRONG&gt;" is unchecked for your item&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;3) Any user criteria is blocking the record producer?&lt;/P&gt;
