function/action items not working

Hi,

Has anybody worked with the state field for change request for the mobile agent app.

users must be able to move a normal change request to either scheduled, implement, review or close using the mobile app.

created the function, the action item, data parameter, and then the ui parameter . the edit button shows with the list of states but does not update the record.
