Search on Now Mobile is not returning Catalog Items

Hello!

We have the OOTB mobile application installed on our phones for Now Mobile and when you go to use the search at the top of the page and search for a catalog item it returns that there are no catalog items, which there are. I am unsure how to update the search to pull these request items. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,

Probably there are 2 reasons you can give a try. Ensure to clear cache after configuring these:

1. Go to System Mobile > Search Sources and find for Catalog items related source is available, if not create one with conditions by mimicing other records

2. System Definition > Text Indexes and in the Global Text Search make sure there are indexes for Catalog Items

I took a look there and everything looks good from what I can tell. Is there any other thing that could be stopping the search in the catalog?

@mtomc Were you able to get the fix for this. I am encountering the same issue even after configuring search sources.

Go to the following table "ais_search_profile" click on the "NowMobile Default Search Profile" When you go into this record you can click on any of the entries that you don't want to show in the NowMobile AI search and click on "unlink" and then publish the record.

If you want to create new search you can click on "create and Link".

If you want to remove the "search sources" right under the search bar, go to the following table "sys_search_context_config" and click on the "NowMobile App Search Configurations" (there are two ZING and AI Search) Click on the AI Search one and then go to the table named "Search Source Facet Buckets" and Deactivate it from there so it doesn't show under the search option in NowMobile.
