    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Everyone,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There are some portal "widget" that are read-only.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;IE : &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A title="" _jive_internal="true" href="https://YOURINSTANCE.service-now.com/nav_to.do?uri=%2Fsp_widget.do%3Fsys_id%3D85357f52cb30020000f8d856634c9c24" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"&gt;https://YOURINSTANCE.service-now.com/nav_to.do?uri=/sp_widget.do%3Fsys_id%3D85357f52cb30020000f8d856634c9c24&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If I want to modify it, I have to clone it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But when you have cloned this, if the original widget get updates (from service now upgrades) my cloned widget won't get theses&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;how do you handle this ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;is there a way to keep my cloned widget synced/linked with the original one (other than by hands) ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Imrane,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;By default all the OOB widgets will be Read-Only. you cannot make nay modification to it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;so what you can do it you can clone it and you can make the required customization.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;At the top of the right side corner, you can find the clone widget button.. you can click on it and rename it as per your wish and make use of it&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper" image-alt="find_real_file.png"&gt;&lt;img src="https://www.servicenow.com/community/image/serverpage/image-id/111291iACC538969E9A872C/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="find_real_file.png" alt="find_real_file.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope this might be helpful&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I had the same question and the only answer I've been able to find so far is that we would need to manually update our widgets one by one.
