This &lt;A href="https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-security-management/page/product/vulnerability-response/concept/vuln-solution-mgmt.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;product documentation&lt;/A&gt; has some useful notes on Vulnerability Solution Management and preferred solutions that may be helpful, namely that&amp;nbsp;a Preferred Solution is meant to have the highest supersedence derived from the solutions associated with the vulnerability. You may also find it helpful to &lt;A href="https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-security-management/page/product/vulnerability-response/task/view-solutions.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;view the Solutions table&lt;/A&gt; in your instance to see more information on the preferred solution in question (All &amp;gt; Vulnerability Response &amp;gt; Solutions).&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The preferred solutions seen in the Related List of the Remediation task are the distinct preferred solutions from the associated vulnerable items.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In your screenshot, you have 54k vulnerable items and some of them would have the highlighted one as the preferred solution, hence the same can be seen in the related list of the remediation task.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this helps.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
