I am a newbie and I am trying to learn by using Yokohama Citizen Developer learning portal. I am unable to download any exercise files (screenshot attached).

All I get is a blank page. For example, when I tried to download the Todoproject.xlsx file from the link: https://developer.servicenow.com/dev_download.do?sysparm_filename=files/todoproject.xlsx&sysparm_project=app_store_learnv2_aescreateappfromscratch_yokohama

This file is needed for Create The To Do Tables exercise.

If someone can help me how to download the exercise file or an alternate location to download the exercise files would help me a lot. Thank you!

Hi @A_Dost,

this is a ServiceNow issue, not yours. I tried it and also cannot download it and I remember one more person posting it here as well.

Please navigate to here:

https://learning.servicenow.com/lxp/en/pages/now-learning-help-center?id=nl_kb_home

and click Create case on the right side - it will create a Case for ServiceNow dedicated team to review it and fix it.

Meanwhile, I can recommend you these links to get some other chances to learn new stuff:

@Simon Hendery I misinterpreted myself, it's okay to download it but not to open it..

It is saved as "dev_donwload.do" and it cannot be opened and neither change the file extension, always gets blocked

As same as:

Your response is very helpful. Thank you for attaching the file. I'll give it a thumbs-up.

For now I'll be able to continue with this exercise however, not sure how to go about downloading other exercise files.

I was wondering if the cyber security team at work preventing me from downloading files to my work laptop. However, if this was the case I'm not sure why I was able to download the file attached in your message. I am confused now. I'll try to download the file to my personal laptop tonight to eliminate any chance of interference from our cyber security team. I'll get back to you.

Under the heading you will find a card titled "Create an App and Data Model" then click "Start Module" button

From the side bar select "Exercise: Create the To do Tables"

In the exercise, step 1 has a link: Download the Todoproject.xlsx file. Click on the link Todoproject.xlsx

Ensure the heading on the webpage "Content available for: Zurich Yokohama Xanadu

When Zurich and Yokohama is selected the download fails and under Xanadu the download works.

Hi @A_Dost

If you notice that on Xanadu and Yokohama, the page shows the message:
'The content you are viewing may not apply to your personal developer instance (PDI), which is on the Zurich release,'
—don’t worry.

For Zurich, everything is fine. It’s likely just that the link hasn't been updated yet, which is why you're seeing that error.

You can still go through the Excel sheet that was shared earlier and continue practicing accordingly.
