How to modify Allocated Resource Plans

Hello,

Could you please clarify how plans that are already in the Allocated state can be modified by the resource manager? At the moment we have a lot of Allocated Resource Plans that needs to be modified due to incorrect requested data by PM initially, we only start using Resource Management within our company, so you advise on the matter will be much appreciated.

Also I've found information that Resource Manager can manage what-if analysis before allocation of resources, but I can't find more information regarding this. Kindly ask you to advise here as well.

This will depend on your version as the editing of allocations has become less and less restrictive over time.

I believe in London a resource manager should be able to modify allocations however they see fit, but only future ones.

We have London Release at the moment. In documents I found some information that Resource Managers have possibility to change allocated resource plans, but I can find any example of how to manage this

You can update an allocated plan in the Resource Allocations related list on a specific plan.

Open the allocated plan and scroll down to the 2 related lists - Requested Allocations and Resource Allocations. Add the column Confirmed/Allocated Hours to your view. You can double click and inline edit the specific future allocations that need to be updated.
