Update Demand "Mentioned" email

I want to modify OOB notification which triggers when any user mentioned over worknotes/comments. only for demand table . is it possible that way

Hi @gauri06 ,

Yes, you can modify it. Try to find the OOB notification and make changes accordingly.

Else you can create a copy of OOB notification and make changes to your copy notification as per your requirement and disable the OOB.

HI @gauri06 - OOTB notification named "Activity Stream @Mention Email" will send the email notification for all mentioned (provided if the user mentioned has access to the record) as the weight of the notification is set as 0. Link to the notification has been shared below, Please replace with your instance name.

Note: Once the above notification is updated then it will be considered as customized. So during the upgrade this record will be skipped.

Activity Stream @Mention Email this is the oob notification I want to modify it to exclude demand table and create copy to include demand table with different email template.

@gauri06 - I would suggest to

1. Create a cloned copy of OOTB notification "Activity Stream @Mention Email" and make the change to filter the demand table or other table using the email notification script in the email body.

2. Set the override field of the new notification with the OOTB email notification. Please refer to the screenshot below

3. Test and confirm all are working fine.

Need some more clarity ...can you please explain as I want to exclude a table from OOb notification

@gauri06 - Please refer my response where I've given the steps to achieve it.

In case if you are not familiar with scripting then do create two notification (one for demand table and another one for other tables) use the condition of the notification to filter it.

It worked for me now I want create a notification for demand table if notes get updated with customized email body ,so do I need to use the same logic like the OOB "Activity Stream @Mention Email or go with usual way

@gauri06 - As we override the OOTB notification, now you can go ahead with usual notification by cloning the OOTB for demand table requirement and No need to configure the override.
