Configuring security for a project in project workspace

Hi All,

I am trying to understand the functionality of configuring security for a project in project workspace as part of Yokohama release, I have enabled the necessary plugins and did the configuration in project record. When I impersonated with the user who I have selected as security user, I couldnt view the project record. Other users are restricted to view this project record that is good but the user to whom permission is given, he also cant view the record.

How the user will view the secured project record if he is selected as security user. I couldnt find any documents.

Any help is much appreciated.

Anyone included in the 'Allowed Users' or 'Allowed Groups' will be granted access to the project. Please see the documentation for more information

yes as per the document is should be visible to allowed users but it is not working as expected.

Can you please confirm if this issue is resolved for you ?

If yes, can you provide the solution for this as I am facing the same issue. The user I have added he does not have access to that project and to any project. Kindly request you for help if you have the solution.

Hi @ranjanak ,

you need to install the plugin. Access the project via Project Workspace. In the Details tab, scroll down to the bottom. By selecting the Confidential field, you grant access to the project for users or groups.
