&lt;P&gt;This behavior is observed only when "Resource Manager"&amp;nbsp;confirms/allocates&amp;nbsp;the resource plan using Allocation workbench.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Hi @gautamkrishna ,&lt;BR /&gt;Confirm / Allocate from resource finder (of resource allocation workbench) honours the user's schedule while booking (confirm / allocate) the users.&lt;BR /&gt;Confirm / Allocate from ellipses (of resource allocation workbench) allows the resource manager to over-allocate the user.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As a resource manager, for already confirmed / allocated resource plan, you can still manually update the confirmed / allocated hours from the resource allocation workbench. This suggestion is to over-allocate the resources for existing resource plans.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In future, if you would like to over-allocate the users, try to allocate / confirm via ellipses (three dots) present in resource allocation workbench rather than resource finder.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this helps!&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;The above warning/error message pops up even when I am using &lt;STRONG&gt;ellipses&lt;/STRONG&gt; (three dots) and chose Confirm or Allocate option. I am looking for an option where I can&amp;nbsp;seamlessly&amp;nbsp;allocate resource without bothering about how many hours are ending up in Resource Log.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The alternate approach to perform in-line edits (by Resource Manager) on Allocation workbench is working for me. But I am still looking for a cleaner solution. &lt;P&gt;I missed the fact that you were trying it for user resource plan.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;OOTB, it&amp;nbsp;allows the resource manager to over-allocate&amp;nbsp;the users upto&amp;nbsp;24 hours / day via group / role resource plan. If you allocate / confirm group / role user resource plan via ellipses (three dots) present in resource allocation workbench&amp;nbsp;it over-allocates the users in that resource plan and no warning displays on the screen.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For example: Refer the screenshots&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Availability of the group is 130 hours and resource plan is created for 150 hours. On confirming from ellipses, users are over-allocated without any warning.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Plan is to fix this behaviour&amp;nbsp;(to allow 24 hours booking without warning) for user resource plan as well from resource allocation workbench starting Paris release.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

I am able to approve resource plan if the request type is selected as "Group" in stead of "user".&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Also I read ServiceNow doc carefully now and it reads like -&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #0000ff;"&gt;If this plan is a &lt;STRONG&gt;group or role&lt;/STRONG&gt; resource plan, these actions confirm or allocate all members of that group or role.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #0000ff;"&gt;Any errors or warnings during allocations are logged in the Resource Plan Logs related list on the Resource Plan form. The log is generated if a resource is allocated over 24 hours for a given day.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Wish to confirm that now in Paris release, you can confirm / allocate the user as well for 24 hours / day from the ellipses.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Prior to Paris release, it was available only for group and role.&lt;/P&gt;
