Can I write CAD exam without training?

Hi,

I can see the instructor class training costs 2700$. I am also unable to book the CAD exam without completing the training.

Could you let me know if I can write a direct exam paying 300 $?

Nope, as per my understanding you need to complete Training first as it is a prerequisite for CAD exam. Go for "on demand" training rather than Instructor led training if you can't afford.

If you are working with any company which is a partner of ServiceNow - your training and Certification will be free of cost. You need to access your company's partner portal for that.

For any ServiceNow mainline certs, training is mandatory which provides you voucher.

2 Ways to do training

On demand $500 and post that need to buy voucher cost approx $ 300.

Instructor led $2700 this includes voucher as well.

Hi @parsip ,

As Nikhil mentioned you have to first complete the 'OnDemand' now learning course as per below screenshot.

No need to attend the instructor lead program & you can attend exam by paying $300. If your organization is partner of ServiceNow you can access partner portal access & you can access "OnDemand" course & exam voucher will be free of cost.

Hi there,

No, you cannot take any mainline exams without training, or actually you need a voucher. No voucher, no exam.

If its just about the costs, then you could consider taking the on demand course.

Instructor led would be 2700 USD

On Demand would be 500 + 450 USD

+ in both cases tax.

Be aware, not 300 USD as multiple people are replying here, that's incorrect!

Thanks for sharing the article, I can see with an on-demand course it costs around 800$. I have worked previously with ServiceNow company for 1 year. I came for higher education and would like to write this certification without training. Do you have any discounted price in case of a previous employee program?

Do you have discounted options for ex-employee discounts? Currently, I am a student pursing MS degree and previously worked with ServiceNow for 1 year.

Currently CSA is only discounted certification available in India not other certs.

You need to pay the full amount buddy.

Hi,

In the SN learning path for CAD certification, I can see both "Application Development Fundamentals on Demand" and "Scripting in ServiceNow Fundamentals" and both charges 500$ each. So is it that I have to take both or as you said only 1 course worth 500$? If only one course, can you please share the link of that. It is very confusing to understand the path in learning portal.

I can see 2 mandatory courses in the CAD learning path "Application Development Fundamentals" and "Scripting in ServiceNow Fundamentals", each costs 500$ which will be 1000$ and 300$ for exam. So is it mandatory to complete all these? I am bit confused, what all courses I need to complete to get a CAD exam voucher can you please share the links?
