i am unable to see Global search icon and left Navigator panel

Hi Team
can someone help me regarding this issue .i am new to this ServiceNow Environment and just created account in ServiceNow . i am facing some issues regarding UI part. the issue is i am unable to find Global search icon and left Navigator panel.

If you're in app engine studio then that's something that should pop out in its own window and it doesn't have a navigation menu separately.
Are you always routed there rather than the core view of dashboards if you go to yourinstance.service-now.com?

Hi @MadhuG268013858 ,

 

Navigate to 'System Properties -> Global Text Search' in your left nav.  Make sure that the 'Enable Global Text Search' option is checked and that the users who need to see the option have one of the roles indicated in the 'List of roles' field.

It looks like you have opened app engine studio, 

To go back to Native view try below url

 

https://yourinstance.service-now.com/

@MadhuG268013858 , if you are facing this in pdi then go to Servicenow pdi 

 

click on your profile there go to change your role

Here switch to admin and save it, after try launching the pdi (click on start building)
