Hello Experts,
I am struggling to manage the Service Portfolios and Taxonomy Nodes. Because of the re-organization and new introduction of Service Portfolios and Taxonomy Nodes we want to mark existing Service Portfolios and Taxonomy Nodes as obsolete, but I couldn't find a correct way to ensure that an existing Service Portfolios and Taxonomy Nodes are stated Non-Operational/Retired unlike we have for CI or Services. Today, we are putting "obsolete- not in use" text as suffix for Service Portfolios and Taxonomy Nodes records which is very poor way of managing it.
What should we do to maintain the life cycle of Service Portfolios and Taxonomy Nodes?
What are the simplest and OOB solutions available to manage Service Portfolios and Taxonomy Nodes end to end?
Thank You for your response in advance.

Taxonomy nodes have a valid from / to date. Service Portfolios have an active flag
